Saundra Ros Altman's: Past Patterns

The Vintage Revivals patterns are only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. The patterns are printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic.

Pattern #1547: Girls' Jumper with Guimpe and Bloomers or Dress

Size: 24" bust, 24" waist, 25" hips.

This pattern was published by The Simplicity Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Girls' Jumper or dress. Jumper design worn with guimpe that has a button front, puff sleeves and bloomers. Dress has long with cuff or short puff sleeves. Dress and jumper are pleated in front." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1933-1935.

Suggested fabrics: Rayon crepe, alpaca-type crepe, French-type crepe, macomba cloth, and novelty wool. The colors were navy, emerald green, luggage brown, forest green, sunset red, pecan beige and Copenhagen blue.

Materials required: 1-5/8 Yds. 36" fabric.
