The Vintage Revivals patterns are only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. The patterns are printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic. |

Pattern #3472: Princess Dress for Misses' or Smaller Women: Circa 1910 Size: 35" bust. This pattern was published by The Butterick Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Princess Dress, closed at the left side, for Misses' or Smaller Women; consisting of a six-gored upper part with high neck or with round or square neck, for wear with the chemisette in high or collarless neck, two-seam sleeves in full or three-quarter length, and lengthened by a plaited flounce with straight lower edge." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1910. Suggested fabrics: Rough hair cloths, supple satins, raw silks, velvet, georgette, crepe and linen. The colors were maize, shell pink, silver, brown, sulphur, apricot, champagne and tobacco. Materials required: 6 Yds. 36" wide.
