The Vintage Revivals patterns are only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. The patterns are printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic. |

Pattern #4212: Misses' and Women's Square-Neck Dress: Circa 1940 Size: 32" bust. This pattern was published by The Anne Adams Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Misses' and Women's Square-Neck Dress. Off-center button closure. Skirt has partially top-stitched front panel. Attached button-on belt. Short sleeves with turned-back cuffs or long fitted sleeves." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1940. Suggested fabrics: Rayon challis, 'mistispun' rayon, spun rayon, and celanese taffeta. The colors were navy, red, laurel green, nuberry wine, teal blue, black and henna rust. Materials required: 3-1/4 Yds. 45" fabric. Cost: $16.00
