Pattern #4416: Semi-Princess Dress for Misses' or Small Women: Circa 1910-1911 Size: 35" bust. This pattern was published by The Butterick Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Semi-Princess Dress for Misses' or Small Women: consisting of a shirt-waist, in Gibson style, with narrow Dutch collar or neckband for wear with other separate collars, or with Dutch square neck, one-seam leg-o'-mutton or regulation shirt-waist sleeves in full or shorter length; and an attached six-gored skirt, with an inverted plait or in habit style at the back, with or without the bias trimming band." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1910-1911. Suggested fabrics: Transparent fabrics, veiling, chiffon, marquisette, silk voile, tulle, net, or metal gauze. The colors were deep blue, black, white, maize, shell pink, silver, brown, sulphur, apricot, champagne and tobacco. Materials required: 5-3/8 Yds. 36" wide.
