Pattern #4586: Misses' and Women's Two-Piece Dress with Peplum:Circa 1947-1948 Size: 32" bust, 26-1/2" waist, 35" hips. This pattern was published by The Advance Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Misses' and Women's Two-Piece Dress with Peplum. Blouse buttons in front and has a triangular opening below a round neckline. Cap sleeves with shoulder pads. Removable belt." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1947-1948. Suggested fabrics: Rayon crepe, rayon faille, rayon taffeta, wool crepe and wool gabardine. The colors were black, aqua blue, navy blue, medium gray, medium green, bright rose, brown, dark green, winter white, pine green, and moss green. Materials required: Blouse: 2-1/2 Yds. 36" fabric.
