Pattern #4728: Ladies' and Misses' Button-Front Dress: Dated 1942

Size: 38" bust, 32" waist, 41" hips.

This pattern was published by The McCall Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Ladies' and Misses' Dress. Blouse-like bodice has a buttoned front and a slashed open neckline. Four-piece skirt flares slightly to the knee. Short sleeves or long sleeves with optional sleeve band. Removable belt." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dated 1942.

Suggested fabrics: Jersey, flannel, shantung, sharkskin, sheer woolens, seersucker, gingham, pique, chambray, one way checks, stripes and plaids, silk, cotton, wool, and rayon. The colors were navy, emerald green, luggage brown, sunset red, forest green, pecan beige, and clove brown.

Materials required: 3-3/8 Yds. 36" fabric.
