Saundra Ros Altman's: Past Patterns

The Vintage Revivals patterns are only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. The patterns are printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic.

Size: 34" bust, 37" hips.

This pattern was published by The McCall Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' slip-on dress with V-neck, plain or gathered sleeves, low-waist with knee-length skirt, slight gather at shoulders." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1927-1928.

Suggested fabrics: Ladies' V-neck long-waisted dresses were made of all silk flat crepe, silk stripped wool cherilaine, silk georgette crepe, silk crepe satin, wool French crepe and silk canton crepe. The colors were blue, brown, navy, black, tan, blue fancy and rose beige.

Materials required: 3-3/8 Yds. 36" wide.
