The Vintage Revivals patterns are only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. The patterns are printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic. |

Pattern #5239: Ladies' Five-Gored Skirt: Circa 1910-1911 Size: 26" waist, 43" hips. This pattern was published by The Standard Fashion Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' Five-Gored Skirt, with slightly high or regulation waistline, in round or shorter length, having an applied front panel, closed at the side-front or back with inverted plait or in habit style at the back; with or without the facing at the lower part." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1910-1911. Suggested fabrics: Linen, serge, suiting, corded or diagonal silk, shepherd's plaid, and silk and wool marquisette. The colors were deep blue, black, white, maize, shell pink, silver, brown, sulphur, apricot, champagne and tobacco. Materials required: 7 Yds. 36" wide.
