#5350: Ladies' and Misses' Afternoon or Evening Wrap Circa 1928 $14.00 (US dollars) Size: 36"-38" Bust. Finished length from back of neck about 44". The pattern was published by the McCall pattern company in New York City. The garment is easily assembled by matching notches and numbers. A fabric layout is included. The pattern contains eight pieces. A similar frock in the 1926 Butterick pattern catalog suggests, "The best materials for this wrap are taffeta, moire, satin, crêpe satin, metallic fabric, velvet and brocades, etc. The lining may be of crêpe de Chine or silk crêpe, or if worn as part of an evening ensemble it should be lined of the frock material or harmonize with the frock color."
