Saundra Ros Altman's: Past Patterns

The Vintage Revivals patterns are only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. The patterns are printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic.

Pattern #5655: Ladies' Waist: Circa 1913

Size: 36" bust.

This pattern was published by The McCall Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' Waist, with gathered vest front, high or low collar and elbow length or long sleeves." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1913.

Suggested fabrics: Tulle, plain chiffon, bordered chiffon, all-over lace and heavier fabrics. The colors were pale cream, khakis, deep brown, green, rose, blues and stripes.

Materials required: 3-3/4 Yds. 36" wide.
