The Vintage Revivals patterns are only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. The patterns are printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic. |

Pattern #9772 Size: 34" bust, 28" waist. This pattern was published by The McCall Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Misses' Set of Boleros. Girdle included. 3 styles, all hitting at waist. Style 1: double breasted with collar and front facing. Style 2: Large collar flows into lapel. Hangs open in front. Style 3: Boxy look with two patch pockets. Front opening lined with buttons on both sides." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1938. Suggested fabrics: Flannel, taffeta, faille, heavy sheer crepes, sharkskin, linen, crepes, pique, bengaline, velveteen, lace, novelty woolens, eyelet embroidery, and jacquard. The colors were royal blue, black, wine red, Venetian violet, powder blue, navy, Adriatic green, Chinese peacock, and cliquot beige. Materials required: 2 Yds. 36" fabric.
